If your organisation uses IP67 or IP68 rated radios near salt water, then you need to care for them. We have developed a radio wash and washing process that neutralises the salt and leaves your radio with a coating to prevent corrosion.
Simply mix up a 1:30 mix of our Salt X Radio Wash in a container large enough to fit your radio in. A good size container is a large lunch box. Mix four caps with two litres of fresh water.
Is only effective if your radio's body is plastic like an Entel HT782U. If you radio has a metal chasis like a Hytera PD782U the radio wash will eat the metal as well as neutralise the salt.
